The depth of the milling depends on the needs of the situation. Under normal conditions 10-15cm below the soil surface is sufficient, but the depth of milling can be up to 35cm.

Milled stumps reduce landscaping costs - flat surfaces are easy to mow and maintain, stumps don't break up landscaping machinery, improve the overall appearance of the landscape and provide more open space.

In addition, milled stumps do not provide the opportunity for the formation of dangerous fungal fruiting bodies, which can damage the rest of the woody vegetation if they reproduce by wind-blown spores.
