Nordforest Nove is designed for monitoring and trapping the population of bark beetles. The pheromone trap is easy to position in the right place thanks to the pile of the trap. A pheromone vial of spruce grouse is placed in the tube of the trap housing and hangs from the end of a string at a depth of about 60-70 cm. The large, transparent collection bag is well ventilated to prevent worms from quickly rotting in the trap, thus prolonging the trap’s lifetime.
The pheromone trap is quick to assemble and set up and very easy to empty. It can hold about 60 000 worms.
It is 1.5 m high when assembled and weighs 1.9 kg.
